The mission of Christian Formation at All Saints' is to encourage life-long spiritual growth for all ages.
- For all to have a basic knowledge of scripture appropriate to their age levels
- For all to be able to articulate their faith stories
- For all to empower each other to live out our faith
- For all to embrace their own spiritual life as a journey with Jesus Christ
Sunday Formation Hour:
Christian Formation for all ages meets on Sunday Mornings during "Formation Hour" from 10 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. in various locations. An additional 'early bird' adult formation class is held at 9 a.m.
We offer the sacrament of Holy Baptism multiple times a year: Easter Vigil, Pentecost, the Sunday following All Saints Day, the Feast of the Baptism of our Lord, when a bishop is present, and usually once during Ordinary time.
Contact the church office to learn more about baptism and register for the preparation class.
In years past, All Saints' has held a Communion Instruction class to help prepare children for the reception of Communion. Although now, this teaching is incorporated in both of our Children Formation curricula. In Godly Play and Weaving God's Promises, children learn about the significance of the Last Supper, Holy Eucharist, and even bake their very own Communion bread.
During Lent, all the Children Formation classes will be baking Communion bread. Their homemade bread will be offered up for Eucharist during the 11 a.m. worship service.
We offer the sacrament of Confirmation, Reception, and Reaffirmation depending upon when the Bishop visits. Contact the church office to find out when the next Confirmation will take place, and to register for Confirmation Class.
Early Birds is our newest class offered for those early risers. Immediately following the 8 o'clock service, this group meets in the Parish Hall for a variety of presentation and discussion based series.
Forum of Faith
The Forum of Faith offers scripturally grounded lectures and discussions on various topics throughout the year, coinciding with the liturgical seasons, and is held during the 10 a.m. Formation Hour.
Nursery Care is available for children up to age three during the Christian Formation hour, for parents who are attending classes. The nursery is open to children through age six during the 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services.
