The Rev. Tom A. Momberg

The Rev. Thomas A. Momberg, known to us as 'Father Tom,' was installed here at All Saints' on March 2, 2008. A Memphian, Fr. Tom came to All Saints' after serving as Associate Rector of Pastoral Care and Social Outreach at Church of the Holy Communion in Memphis.

Tom Momberg earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in ethnomusicology from Brown University in Rhode Island. He completed his Masters of Divinity from General Theologicial Seminary in 1986. Since then, he has served parishes across the nation, in capacities ranging from Chaplain to Rector.

Momberg has a strong passion for music and prayer, which he has brought with him to All Saints'. He'll often incorpate lyrics of songs into his sermons, which can be read here. In a narrative piece about his vision for All Saints', Momberg wrote: "Dear friends in Christ, it’s not all about us. It’s all about Jesus, the One who invites us to join him on his unique Vision Quest. It’s about a journey we share with Jesus and one another—a journey toward what he called ‘the kingdom of God,’ a journey toward what Martin Luther King Jr. called ‘the beloved community,’ a journey toward what I have come to understand as God’s shalom—God’s reconciliation, God’s healing, God’s wholeness, God’s peace."

Father Tom has an 'open-door' policy - feel free to e-mail him with any questions you may have about All Saints'.
