For our next Readings and Conversations gathering, the Truth and Reconciliation Ministry will attend a live performance instead of reading a book. We invite you to join us for The Ballad of Emmett Till, presented by Other Voices Theatre at the Performing Arts Factory (244 South Jefferson St., Frederick). The production runs over two weekends in May. Members of the T&R Ministry plan to attend: • Friday, May 15 at 8:00 p.m. • Sunday, May 17 at 2:00 p.m. Following each performance, we will gather at a nearby restaurant for conversation and reflection. This powerful play offers an opportunity to deepen our understanding of the history of racism and the ongoing work of social justice. We hope you will join us for this meaningful experience.
