We have some fantastic events coming up that I'd like to share with you all!

Sunday, August 17^th is going to be a busy day!

• Blessing of the Backpacks during the services (for students of all ages!)

• Blessing of the New Classroom Space, Court Street Hallway, 11:15am

• Water Games and Celebration of Summer, Memorial Garden, 11:30am

• All Saints Keys Game, Key's Stadium, 3:00pm

Sunday, August 24^th is the first day of formation! Christian Formation will take place in the Green Classroom in the Court Street Hallway at 9:00am sharp! If you'd like to register for Christian Formation, please make sure you have filled out an emergency contact form for your child/children and that you've sent a copy to . (If you registered last year and your information has not changed, you do not need to fill out a new form). If you are not yet Safe Church Trained, please email Alex to get the link for training before signing up.

On Saturday, September 13^th St. James Episcopal Church in Mt. Airy is hosting an event, Kids in Crisis: Mental Health and Positive Childhood Experiences. I've been honored to have the opportunity to work with Kate Riley, our Cannon for Youth and Young Adult Ministry, as well as members of the Frederick County Health Department, to organize this event. Tailored for parents and adults who work with children and youth, we'll have lectures, workshops, and best of all, free childcare and lunch! Please visit the Diocesan Events Website to register.
